Silica Oceana by Multim-in-Parvo Silica Oceana by Multim-in-Parvo
I started this back in February, sketched it out at work. Didn't touch it at all for a while, but I know it would be my entry for :icondianae: 's contest for mythological beings. She's one of my favourite artists, so I HAD to enter. I didn't place at all, haha. It was a good waste of ~55 hours though!

Now for the Credits. There was no way in HELL I could have done this without the following:

:icondianae: for her digital painting tutorial. (great for skin!)
:iconcobweb-stock: and :iconpas-stock: for hand references
:iconenchantedgal-stock: for fish scale texture
:iconsauriamami: for the fox coral
:iconkevbutt: for the trumpet coral
:iconsaccades: for the ship reference.
And National geographic for the shark reference.

Looks good. What kind of digital pen do you use? Wacom Bamboo Fun?

It was an older model Wacom back then... Now I use the Bamboo Pen. Cheaper than the fun, does the job.

Do you know which one is the latest model? I really have no idea and only know of the Bamboo Fun since it was given to me as a gift

What? Are you kidding, you didn't even place?
What a shame!

Did you use a reference for the shark?
